Part 2: What’s Your Book’s Purpose?
Is your book a 200+ page business card? Is it a lead generator for your business? Is it a repurposing tool to bring you more prospects or customers?
Every business is an info marketing business. It doesn’t matter what business you’re in, when you really think about it, you’re in the business of marketing information. Period.
Watch this video carefully and make sure you take a peek at what I give you at the end … it’s a free gift you can download that could save you thousands of dollars in copywriting fees!

Hey Alex,
Thanks for the great resource. We can re-purpose some of those benefits for our information product.
So I guess you could change the question from
What’s Your Book’s Purpose?
to
What’s Your Information Product’s Purpose
What’s Your eBook’s Purpose?
or in our case
What’s Your Spectacular Presentation’s Purpose?
Thanks so much for that great resource.

You’re da man Alex!
A wealth of knowledge cascading down like a massive waterfall!
“YOU are the message” - as it relates to your book’s purpose - the book you write is merely an expression of one’s Purpose in life overall. “Why are you writing it?” Again, it goes back to your Purpose - what are you trying to accomplish in life? The book is then one of the vehicles to help you achieve it.
Whenever someone decides what their purpose or mission in life, then everything they do will fall into place and make sen$e.
All the best,
Terry P Carter
Ps - so who’s your cameraman??

Hi there Alex,
As you know, I became a published author last year by the end of Virutal Book Tour Secrets and despite the fact that I was one of many authors for this particular book, VBT helped me put together my 2500 story.
I’m in the process of writing my own book and have to tell you, I pained over the subtitle having attending last years VBT. It took me 4 days just brainstorming the subtitle but oh the peace once I’d nailed it!
In my view, the promise gives the book direction and I found it was much easier putting together the blueprint once I was clear on the promise and my purpose for writing the book.
I love Teleseminar Secrets Alex but, I LOVE Virtual Book Tour Secrets and in my view, every business owner should be attending this course … they will see opportunities for basic to advanced information products that they had never seen before.
Thanks Alex,
Trish Jones

Another great tip–thanks, Alex! As an editor for many years and an author myself, I know firsthand that we authors tend to write our book backwards–starting with the message, assuming the best medium is a book, and then figuring out who the audience might be and how to reach them (often after the book is written!). You have a much better way. Indeed, your system delivers on its promise–to sell books (and just as important, any information product), “faster, better, and with less human effott.” I love your system, and thanks for distilling some of the nectar into these great tips.
